These Terms and Conditions provide for the terms of the contractual relation between WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM acting as supplier for various accommodation packages and a client and/or customer using this website and/or purchasing services through it (hereinafter referred to as “the client” or “the customer”).

1.7. Force Majeure

If as a consequence of Force Majeure, WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM is obliged to curtail, Alter or cancel a booking and/or any services agreed, the partner and/or client/customer shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation.
The term “Force Majeure” includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire and any other destruction of any accommodation booked, riots, acts of civil or international war, natural disasters, fires, exercise of municipal, legislative, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action, or any other reason beyond the control of . 1.8. Amendment To These Terms And Conditions

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
This Agreement cannot otherwise be altered without prior consultation and agreement with WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM

1.9. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and the Client and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter and may not be amended or modified unless expressly agreed by WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM in writing.

1.10. System Integrity

The usage of any device, routine, or software which inhibits or interferes with the running of the WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM website or any booking concluded upon it is strictly prohibited.
Any action which creates a load on WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM or infrastructure which may be considered unreasonable or disproportionate is strictly prohibited.

1.11. No Guarantee Of Continuous Access To This Website

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM does not guarantee continuous access without interruption to its website, nor does WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM guarantee secure access to its services.

the Partner/client/customer may not assign, subcontract convey or delegate his/her rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

the person purchasing and/or booking services from this website agree that these Terms and Conditions are reasonable.
The user consents to the use for information on WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and / or the owner of this website processes personal data, we refer you to the Privacy Policy published by the website and kindly invite you to read through it

1.16. Miscellaneous

the user agrees that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists with WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and/or the owner of this website as a result of the use of this website or the purchase and/or booking of services through this website.

1.17. Severability

The invalidity of one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions does not signify the invalidity of the whole Terms and Conditions.

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences Terms and Conditions

Payment

Payment may be made by either online payment-link (SaferPay) or bank transfer directly to our bank account.

If a reservation is made less than eight (8) weeks before the scheduled arrival, then full payment is required.

If a reservation is made more than eight (8) weeks prior to the scheduled arrival, twenty-five percent (25%) non-refundable deposit is required to secure the reservation. The balance will be taken four (4) weeks prior to arrival.

Minimum duration of stay

The minimum duration of stay is as per below:

November – March: All Apartments, Junior & Superior Villas (2 Nights)

April – June & September – October: All Apartments (3 Nights), Junior & Superior Villas (4 nights)

July – August: All Apartments (5 Nights), Junior & Superior Villas (7 nights)

The Mythos Collection Villas and the Elite Villas have a minimum stay of seven nights all year round.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation fee: the 25% deposit payable/due with the confirmation of the booking is non-refundable.

For cancellations more than four (4) weeks prior to arrival:

i) the deposit is redeemable for another stay completed within the next six (6) months.

ii) loss of deposit in the case of complete cancellation and no redemption.

For cancellations less than four (4) weeks prior to arrival, or for ‘no shows’, or for cancellations during the guests’ stay, the full amount will be payable/due.

Electricity Units

A Kw/h reading will be made upon your arrival and departure and details will be available within your property. The maximum limit of consumption per week is as follows: 1-bedroom properties: 300KWH, 2-bedroom properties: 400KWH, 3-bedroom properties: 500KWH, 4-bedroom properties: 600KWH, 5-bedroom properties: 700KWH. Each unit used above this limit will be charge at €0.35 cents. In the event of excess usage, the guest consents to his/her card being charged for the appropriate amount. With considerate usage, it is rare to exceed the electricity allowance, however the limitations are in place to ensure that our guests are conscious of their usage and consider the environmental impact of excessive electricity consumption.

Accommodation service

Though it is a rare occurrence, properties can be affected by water or electricity shortages and supplies can be cut off without notice for varying periods of time. In addition, you may find that the electricity may trip if too many appliances are used at the same time. These resources are provided by the municipality and Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) and so these infrequent situations are out of the Managements Control. Whereas we will make every attempt to ensure that these infrequent issues do not cause inconvenience and discomfort to our guests, Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences bares no liability for such instances and therefore no compensation either monetary or otherwise will be offered, however if deemed necessary, alternative accommodation will be provided. Although all properties offer Wi-Fi connection, we cannot be held responsible for any temporary failure of this facility.

Air-conditioning

The cost of any air-conditioning is included in the accommodation price; however, the A/C units must only be used while you are in the property, with all windows and doors kept closed at all times. Depending on the type of property you are renting, Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences has given a specific daily allowance and the details will be available within your property.

Housekeeping Service

All properties are cleaned and inspected prior to arrival.

  • Apartments and Junior Villas receive one mid-stay clean per seven-night stay where towels and linen are changed.
  • Superior Villas receive a mid-stay clean from the 4th day of stay onwards.
  • Premium Serviced Apartments receive a Daily Tidy-Up, as part of the Premium Services.
  • The Mythos Collection Villas & Elite Villas receive daily cleaning.

A departure clean is included and based on the understanding that the property will be left tidy at the time of check-out and with all personal waste removed from the property by the guests.

In the event that this policy is not followed, additional charges may apply ranging from €50 to €350 based the type of property and the level of cleaning needed.

Our housekeeping team is at hand to provide extra cleaning services at an extra charge during the guest’s stay, if necessary.

Damages

All properties are privately owned and for security reasons the approved credit card number given on check-in will be charged in case of any damages. The allocated property is inspected prior to arrival, if any items checked are not in order the guest should report this to Guest Services (Reception) within 24 hours of arrival. Customers are not permitted to move or remove any furniture or equipment without prior written consent from Aphrodite Hills Property Management. Under no circumstances must any furniture for use inside the property be moved outside. The property will be re-inspected for any damage on the departure day of the guest.

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences reserves the right to ask for a refundable amount against damages ranging from €400 to €1000 based on the type of property, upon check-in. The guest agrees that the credit card given upon check-in will be charged in case of any damages incurred. If not then this amount will be released 5 working days after the departure of the guest, providing no damages were reported by the inspection team.

Property Details – Restrictions

All properties are well equipped and include bed linen and bath towels. All properties are privately owned and decorated and furnished to owners’ individual taste. Maximum occupancy is 2 persons per bedroom. One infant in a cot is permitted per bedroom. Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences reserves the right to decline access to the property for tenants that exceed the maximum occupancy of the property, with additional financial penalties of up to 2 times the daily rate of the period booked.

No parties or events are allowed at any property, nor is it permitted for any outside visitors to enter the property, other than guests stated on reservation. Should this occur, Aphrodite Hills Holidays Residences reserves the right to decline the access to outside visitors and apply a penalty of €2000,00 or above, depending on the property category.

Property Allocation

Every attempt will be made to allocate you in your chosen property. If deemed necessary Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or provide alternative accommodation of a confirmed booking. In this unlikely event you will be offered the choice to reside in another property through Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences (subject to availability) with the price difference payable/refundable as appropriate, or of receiving a refund of all monies paid to Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences. No further compensations of any nature will be due to the guests, and Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences will not be liable.

Swimming pools

Properties with private swimming pools are for the private use of the occupants of the property and only. Communal pools are only for the use of the occupants of the properties. Health and safety regulations are applicable at all outdoor facilities including swimming pools. Please read all poolside signage featuring standard Rules & Regulations on use of pool facilities.

Heated Pools

Heated swimming pools or jacuzzis are only available when stated in the relevant accommodation description. Pool or jacuzzi heating is available at an extra charge and needs to be paid for prior to the guest’s arrival. Pools and jacuzzis are electrically or fuel heated and take up to 48 hours to heat. The temperature of the pool or jacuzzi will depend on prevailing weather conditions and property location. Certain pools or jacuzzis do not heat effectively during the period of mid-December to mid-March, therefore please consult property descriptions or Reservations department for clear pool or jacuzzi operations for maximum benefit of booking this service. A cover is available for each heated pool or jacuzzi and it is imperative that the guest covers the pool or jacuzzi with the suitable throughout the night, to maintain the correct temperature.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in any property or any communal areas including swimming pools at any time. Should you bring a pet without previous communication with the reservations team, Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences reserves the right to charge your account with the amount of €500,00.

Insects / animals

Mosquitoes, ants and other insects are endemic in warmer climates, particularly in countryside areas. Preventative pest control is carried out throughout the Resort at frequent intervals. Should any incident occur, we recommend that you contact our Guest Services team.

Building work

It is the case that some resort areas are still being developed and therefore there is a possibility of building work or construction work. Work may begin on a neighbouring property over which we have no control, nor are we given prior notice. In the event of disruption caused by building work, a property of same category and at a different location will be offered to the guest. No further compensations of any nature will be due to the guests, and Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences will not be liable.

Special requests

Every effort will be made to meet any special requests of the guest. Special requests are treated as an indication of preference and cannot be guaranteed. Any special requests must be stated at the time of the booking.

Photographs

Photographs are intended to give an overall impression of individual properties. The Management does not accept any responsibility for items of furniture etc, which appear in photographs that may have been changed or removed, nor for any changes to aspects which may have changed since photographs were taken.

Advertising refunds policy

Should purchase be made on any services via Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences e.g. car rental, excursions, rounds of Golf or Spa treatments, etc, the monies used to pay for these services are not refundable.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences take the privacy of your Personal Data seriously. We collect and process your Personal Data as described in the reverse Privacy Notice and with your consent, if necessary, for the purpose of informing you about news, events, activities, new services and products offered by us or advertising campaigns and/or promotional activities, in accordance to applicable data protection laws.

Liability

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences is a Rental company. Even though we use all resources at our disposal to ensure information provided and the quality and facilities of the properties, we cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any problems that occur while guests occupy the villa of their choice. We accept responsibility to provide the accommodation as described on our website but shall not be liable in circumstances where we are prevented from providing the accommodation because of events outside our control, such as flood, fire, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, war, threat of war, civil disturbance or acts of any local or national government.

Currency

All prices mentioned are in Euros unless otherwise stated and are accurate at the time of
reservation and will not be altered after confirmation of the booking has been received.

Flights

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences will not be held responsible for changes and or timetable alterations made by the airlines and will not make any refunds due to cancelled flight bookings. When booking flights please advise us of arrival and departure times as soon as possible. This is to ensure that your dates correlate with the set check in and checkout times of 2:00 pm and 10:00 am respectively.

Discounts

From time-to-time various discounts will be offered on properties in our portfolio. The cost payable by you is the advertised price of the property at the time of booking.

Furthermore, if you are a repeater guest of Holiday Residences you are allowed a discount, however the repeater discount cannot be combined with any other offers. Please consult the reservation department.

Insurance

Please ensure you have covered your party with travel insurance as neither Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences nor the property owners will be held responsible in any way for injury and death that may result while renting or using any of the properties offered by Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences.

Lost & Found

Please ensure all personal possessions are packed when departing your accommodation. Whilst we will endeavour to assist when items are left, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee the return of any items which have been left unattended and will not be liable for any items lost or damaged in transit. Postage, packaging and handling fees may be applied for the return of lost property. Please avoid leaving valuables or cash prominently displayed within your property and always ensure that all windows and doors are locked prior to leaving the property. There is a safe box for free use in all properties, please use this at all times.

Children’s safety

Children are naturally curious, especially when on holiday where there are lots of areas and things to be explored. Please ensure that children are not left unsupervised at any time during your holiday and take extra care with balconies and swimming pools etc. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times. Please take extra care with children if your pool is described as an ‘infinity pool’, as this pool will have an open drop from the pool edge. If you require any child safety equipment (e.g. pool fencing, stair gates etc.) please consult our reservations team prior your arrival. Pool fencing is subject to availability at the time of booking.

International TV channels

Mythos Collection Villas, Elite Villas and Premium Serviced Apartments feature International Channels. Some of the other property categories can be equipped with the facility of International Channels at an additional charge, if the guest requests it prior to arrival.

Disabled travelers

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences does not provide properties which are specifically designed for disabled access or use. Properties may be suggested for such use; however, no alterations can be made to the properties and Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences cannot be held liable for any injuries, inconvenience or damage as a result.

Notes

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Should this be done, we shall notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your details or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

 

The Retreat Spa Terms and Conditions

Arrival at “The Retreat Spa”

      1. We recommend that you check in at Spa Reception at least 20 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This allows you ample time to complete a consultation form & change for your treatment. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of their treatment

General

      1. In the interests of the comfort, safety and relaxation of all of our guests, we ask that the following guidelines are followed at all times:
      2. The Retreat Spa and its environs are strictly no smoking areas.
      3. We do not allow mobile phones in our customer areas – please leave them switched off in your locker. This is the time for your body and mind to release the worries and stresses of the day.
      4. Please conduct all conversations at levels consistent with a relaxing Spa environment.
      5. The Retreat Spa and fitness facilities are open to persons aged 16 and over.
      6. Pool towels can be found at the cloak reception or placed on the sun loungers outside on the sun deck.
      7. Shower towels can be found in your lockers, please do not take shower towels outside.
      8. Please leave all items of value in your locker. The Retreat is not responsible for loss of or damage to a guest’s personal belongings.
      9. Always shower before using pool facilities and between heat rooms. A robe and slippers should be worn in all common areas and swimwear is compulsory in all Thermae heat rooms and whilst sunbathing.
      10. Please ensure you drink plenty of fluid to rehydrate after use of our heat treatments and that alcohol and coffee consumption is kept to a minimum.
      11. Food and drink should not be brought into The Retreat for consumption during your visit. Refreshments are available in all relaxation areas and the Spa Restaurant & Juice Bar.
      12. All guests will be required to complete and sign a Health & Lifestyle Questionnaire upon arrival, prior to entrance to the facilities.
      13. For those that have a discount card, please note that no further discount applies to packages or offers. These are already discounted and no further discount can be applied.
      14. If you have a gift voucher, please remember to bring this with you on the day to hand to Reception.
      15. All facilities are subject to availability.

Locker Rooms

      1. In single-sex heat rooms, swimwear is not compulsory, but please considers the wishes of fellow guests.
      2. A towel should always be placed on sauna benches between you and the bench.
      3. Please do not leave toiletries in showers or wet vanity areas.
      4. Shaving is permitted in the male changing rooms. However, please ensure that wet vanity areas are left clean. Razors should not be placed in any of the waste bins and shaving is strictly prohibited in the saunas and steam rooms.
      5. Please do not add oils or other products to the sauna bucket water without first speaking to a member of staff.
      6. Please place all used towels in the baskets provided.

When Taking a Treatment

      1. Please arrive in good time to enjoy the facilities and ensure that you are ready to be collected by your therapist at the allotted time. Time lost through late arrival will result in a shortened or amended treatment being offered without refund.
      2. You are entitled to use the first level facilities only if you have a treatment in the Spa and this includes full changing room facilities with locker service, fitness areas, pool and sun deck.
      3. Underwear or suitable swimwear should be worn going into the treatment room and during treatments. For some treatments you will be provided with disposable undergarments by your therapist, and suitable towel draping will be used at all times.
      4. During treatments, please let your therapist know if you are comfortable or uncomfortable, too warm or too cold, or if their pressure is too light or too firm. Your comfort and care is our greatest concern and priority.
      5. If you have a particular injury or physical condition, please explain it to the therapist. They can suggest appropriate adjustments to the treatment for your comfort and enhancement.
      6. There is no pressure to talk during a treatment. It is entirely up to you. If you have any questions or would like to talk, certainly do so. The therapist will take their cues from you. If you are quiet they will be too.

Fitness / Tennis Areas

      1. Please place the hand towels provided between you and the fitness equipment and wipe down after use.
      2. Appropriate fitness attire is required at all times. Outdoor shoes should not be worn in any fitness areas.

Cancelation Policy

      1. All taxes and charges are included in the price.
      2. Your credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. It will only be charged at the time of checkout or in case of no show.
      3. Unless otherwise stated, if you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please do so 48 hours prior to the day of your arrival and your credit card will not be billed. If you modify or cancel your reservation after this time, your credit card will be billed for the entire amount
      4. In the case that a reservation is booked along with an accommodation (Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel or Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences), the cancellation policy of the accommodation option will override any cancellation policy of the specific activity.

 

Aphrodite Hills Golf Terms and Conditions

General Rules

Tee times and check-in

  • Starting times have 9 minutes intervals.
  • The Club reserves the right to pair up players into 4 balls.
  • Players must always adhere to the marshals and starters instructions.
  • All players must check-in for their booked tee time before commencement of play.
  • Golf rounds are non-transferable between golfers.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation policy applies to all reserved tee times:

  • 30 days cancellation notice prior to date of play required for advance pre-bookings otherwise full rates apply
  • 7 days cancellation notice required for bookings made one month prior to play otherwise full rates will apply
  • 24 hours cancellation notice required for bookings made one week prior to play otherwise full rates will apply

“No-shows” shall be charged at 100% of the price confirmed upon reservation. These are the reserved and confirmed tee times for which the guests have not turned up to play or were not cancelled within the cancelation period.

Handicaps, Speed of Play and Etiquette

  • Aphrodite Hills Golf Club handicap restrictions are: 28 for men and 36 for ladies.
  • The targeted time for a round of golf for visitors is around 4 and ½ hours for a 4 ball.
  • Slower players must permit faster players to go through or follow the marshal’s instructions which may include missing a hole to catch up with the players in front.
  • Avoid practice on the course as much as possible.
  • Customary golf etiquette should always be observed.
  • Possible lost ball: golfers have 3 minutes to search for a lost ball.
  • Call “fore” if your ball goes towards properties or there is danger of hitting anyone on the golf course.
  • Rake the bunker after play and place the rake half in and half out.
  • Repair pitch marks while waiting for other players in the group.
  • Replace all divots; golfers must replace all cut turf.
  • Range balls must be used only on the practice area.

Any player not respecting the etiquette, unable to play at suitable level, or unable to keep up the place of play, or refuse to follow the course marshal’s instructions will be asked to leave the course. No financial compensation will be offered under these circumstances.

Golf buggies

  • Aphrodite Hills is a buggy mandatory course.
  • The buggy fee paid does not include the usage of the buggy for the practice areas.
  • Aphrodite Hills golf buggies are equipped with a GPS system.
  • Drivers must be minimum 18 years of age. No exceptions will be made to this rule!
  • A buggy may carry a maximum of 2 persons and 2 golf bags.
  • Health and safety operating instructions displayed on the buggies must be strictly followed.
  • Players are responsible for any damage made to the buggies or other hired items during their round.

Dress Code

  • Championship Golf Course – Any recognized golfing apparel that can be purchased from a professional shop is acceptable. Men’s shirts with collars and tailored shorts or trousers. Ladies shirts without sleeves to have collars. Denim and other sports clothing are not deemed as golfing apparel.
  • Clubhouse and practice areas – Casual clothing is acceptable with sleeves for men, suitable footwear such as training shoes are allowed. Shirts must be worn at all times. No swimwear or sportswear permitted.

Spectator Policy

Spectators are allowed on the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course only under the below terms and conditions:

  • The spectator can only be approved at the time of check-in. Approval will only be granted if the second seat on the buggy is not reserved by another player.
  • All spectators must comply with the established rules and dress code of Aphrodite Hills Golf Course.
  • Spectators are only permitted to ride and remain within the confines of a golf buggy while on the course.
  • A maximum of one (1) spectator per player will be approved for each round. A maximum of two (2) buggies per tee time will be allowed.
  • A maximum of two (2) occupants are allowed per golf buggy.
  • Minors under the age of twelve (12) require special permission to access the course as spectators. Under no circumstances are junior spectators permitted to operate a golf buggy.
  • The golfer assumes full responsibility for their accompanying spectator. By doing so, the golfer releases Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd and its patrons from any liability for any injuries sustained by the spectator while on the course.
  • Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd reserves the absolute right to deny spectator access at any given time.

Juniors

  • Children under the age of 12 must always be supervised by an adult. Juniors under the age of 6 are not allowed on the championship golf course.
  • Juniors under 18 holes must always have an adult to drive the buggy for them on the championship course.

Golf Bags

  • Each player must have their own golf bag with their own set of clubs. Sets of clubs can be hired at the Golf Proshop, subject to availability.

Lockers

  • Lockers are available in the changing rooms on a daily basis. A returnable deposit fee will be payable at the Golf Proshop, in the event of a lost key the deposit will not be refunded.

GDPR

  • Upon agreeing with these Terms and Conditions, all guests are consenting to Aphrodite Hills to stay in touch with them for the purposes of sending all the information about news, events, activities, new products and services offered by The Company, advertising campaigns or promotional services.

Local Rules

  1. Out of Bounds (Rule 18.2)

  • Where the course adjoins a public footpath, a ball is Out of Bounds if it is beyond the white dots (stakes are indicative only).
  • Beyond white stakes not associated with the above. Beyond any property wall, fence or hedge.
  • Where white stakes are immediately adjacent to a cart path or wall, the boundary is defined by the outside edge, stakes are indicative only.
  • A ball that is played from one side of a road which is defined as out of bounds and comes to rest on the other side of that road is out of bounds. This is true even if the ball comes to rest on another part of the course that is in bounds for other holes (e.g. 11th to 16th).
  • Clubhouse and surrounding areas (including practice putting greens).
  • Within the defined maintenance area.
  1. Penalty Areas (Rule 17)

  • Are defined by red or yellow stakes and/or red or yellow lines. In all cases where both stakes and lines are present, lines take precedence.
  • Drop Zones – For your convenience, clarity and to assist with pace of play, a drop zone has been provided on Holes 7 and 15. Hole 7, if it is known your ball crossed the greenside edge before going into the penalty area, two club-lengths lateral relief is available.
  1. Abnormal Course Conditions (Rule 16.1)

  • Ground under Repair (GUR) – Relief MUST be taken (except edging grooves)
    • Any area bounded by white painted lines, blue stakes or signs.
    • The Grass Nursery area between the 10th and 18th Hole
    • Erosional damage in bunkers caused by excess water (washouts)
    • Edging grooves near Putting Green (only if the ball lies on the groove).
    • The Ancient Kiln on the 1st hole and the Olive Presses on the 8th hole as encircled by a white line. The drop zone must be used.
    • The area defined by blue stakes with green tops on the left of hole 18 is a no play/no go zone. Players are not permitted to enter the area for any reason.
  • Immovable Obstructions
    • All cart paths. Additionally, the steps on Hole 14 (including edges).
    • Walls adjacent to paths, penalty areas, teeing areas (but see “4. Integral” below).
    • Irrigation units, including sprinkler heads, control boxes and satellite stations.
    • All course furniture. (Including but not limited to:- information posts/structures, protection fencing, marker posts, ball washers, waste bins, and bench seats).

Rule 16 – Exceptions: No relief when clearly unreasonable to play ball (see 16.1(3). 16.2(a) and 16.3a(1)).

  1. Integral Parts of the Course (Rule 2.3)

  • Free standing stone walls (including but not limited to holes 5, 11 and 15).
  • Any rock faces, natural or man-made.

Penalty for Breach of a Local Rule:  Match Play – Loss of Hole; Stroke Play – General Penalty (2 Strokes)

Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy Terms and Conditions

General

  1. The Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy features 9 floodlit courts, of which 5 are plexi-cushion hard courts and 4 European red clay courts – designed to offer players of all standards a surface that is of the highest quality.
  2. All Court Hire, Racquet Hire & Floodlight Fees are included in the price of each lesson.
  3. 2 Players or more are required for all Group Coaching Courses to run.

Reservations

      1. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure access to the Tennis Courts and booking of the specific session of your liking. Reservation of courts and sessions are subject to the terms and conditions of each member’s membership agreement and according to availability. Cancellation of reservations for sessions and booking of courts must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Registration

      1. All members and guests must register at the Tennis Shop before going on court. The Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy would like to inform all customers that payment for Tennis Lessons is required before the sessions begin. When payment is made. a receipt will be given to the customer as proof of payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain this receipt as confirmation that the Tennis Lesson has been paid for.
      2. All players kindly report to Reception before going on court.

Cancellation Policy:

        1. 30-day cancellation notice prior to date of play required for advance pre-bookings otherwise full rate will be charged.
        2. 7-day cancellation notice required for bookings made 1 month prior to date of play otherwise full rate will be charged.
        3. 24-hour cancellation notice required for bookings made 1 week prior to date of play otherwise full rate will be charged.
        4. Cancellations are only deemed cancelled after AGD has confirmed the cancellation in writing.
        5. ‘No-shows’ shall be charged at 100% of the indicated price of this agreement.

        * ‘No-shows’ are considered as to be any reservations made and confirmed in writing that have not been used at the given tee time and that have not been cancelled within the stipulated time.

        In the case that a reservation is booked along with an accommodation (Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel or Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences), the cancellation policy of the accommodation option will override any cancellation policy of the specific activity.

    Rules & Regulations

      1. Dress Code – correct tennis apparel should be worn on the tennis courts.Tennis Shoes – our hard courts allow any tennis and fitness shoes. Clay courts allow only proper tennis shoes.NOTE: It is the responsibility of the Operator to inform their clients of the above requirements. If the clients are refused permission to play because they do not conform to the rules, the court hire will be charged. Please help us to avoid difficult situations by informing your clients and staff about our Rules & Dress Code.

    Bad Weather Policy

      1. Below are the conditions for the various situations that arise due to inclement weather. In the event of any suspension of play the Aphrodite Hills Tennis Team will endeavor to ensure that the court hire will be completed on the same day. This is subject to maintaining player safety at all times. The Tennis Courts will be closed for the following reasons:
        • Flooded tennis courts
        • Thunder and lightning.
        • If the conditions are bad enough in any way as to be considered dangerous to the players or damaging to the tennis courts – i.e. fog, frost and flooding.

         

        In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made as soon as possible each morning and hourly, thereafter. The Client should contact the Tennis Academy to be informed and updated on the condition of the tennis courts.

         

        In the above situations, the following conditions will apply:

        • No NO-SHOW tennis court will be charged when the client has contacted the Tennis Academy in advance.
        • The client must re-schedule the court hire for a future date at this time and where possible all rescheduled court hire should be made on the actual day of the bad weather; the Tennis Academy will move the booking and make the appropriate notes.
        • If the guests are unable to re-schedule their court hire please contact Tennis Reservations.
        • If the players decide to leave the tennis courts of their own accord when it is not closed, no refund/voucher will be given.
